My great grandfather was the first.
We have lived by his example ever since. In building our lakeside hotel in 1926, my great granddad was a pioneer of long summery spells at Lake Weissensee (“White Lake”). ‘Word of mouth’ spread the news of the idyllic location and the warm atmosphere at our hotel, and a great circle of ‘regulars’ quickly formed. Just like today, those who came once tend to regularly come again. My grand parents and parents carried on this tradition, and today, it is me who is looking after our guests, in the fourth generation.
